Meet the Co-Author

Dana Wilson is a certified trichologist, Sisterlocks educator, certified empowerment coach, certified BIO research assistant, certified cold capper, veteran, author, and more importantly a mother of a son on the autism spectrum.

Dana has a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is the director and chief executive officer of Hair Cares Inc., which provides in-person and virtual hair growth services, Sisterlocks business consulting, and personal coaching.

Dana’s mission is to empower audacious women with an understanding that Every Strand Counts by piecing mind, body, and spirit components together, which result in scalp rejuvenation, hair regeneration, and a growing sustainable Sisterlocks business. She encourages wholistic living and full self-expression, through hair advocacy, training, coaching, consulting, books, and the talk show Every Strand Counts.
